THE STATION (FOX) - Carla Gallo and Jose Zuniga have joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about "a covert CIA operative Eric (Justin Bartha) and his workmates, who are on a mission in Central America to install a new dictator." Kevin Napier is behind the 20th Century Fox Television-based half-hour, which is being redeveloped for the current cycle. Gallo will play Mia, "the smart but loopy director of operatives who oversees the undercover field officers in the Central America outpost and has feelings for Eric." Zuniga then set as Sherman, "a trained field officer tasked with running the import/export cover office but who is dying to get a position inside the station." They'll take over from Whitney Cummings and Julio Oscar Mechoso, respectively, who originated the roles in the previous incarnation. In addition, Jordan Peele, who plays the fictionalized version of President Barack Obama, has been upped to series regular. John Goodman and Rob Huebel also star in the project, which David Wain directed. Ben Stiller, Jeremy Kramer and Stuart Cornfeld also serve as executive producers.
TACKY HOUSE (Style, New!) - Thom Filicia ("Queer Eye") is set to host a new reality series at the cable channel in which a panel of experts "examines homes that have disastrous decor and determine if they can be refurbished into something a bit more tasteful." 13 half-hours have been ordered of the project, which comes from executive producers Rob Eric, Michael Williams, Michael Hauser and Sarah Weidman of Lynchpin Productions. Said newcomer is due in the spring.
