CMT PRESENTS 'CMT ADVENTURE COUNTRY' WITH TWO NEW ORIGINAL SERIES 'GATOR 911' AND 'DANGER COAST' PREMIERING FRIDAY, APRIL 9
GATOR 911 and DANGER COAST Chronicle Everyday Heroes Risking Their Lives For Others
NASHVILLE - March 3, 2010 - CMT welcomes viewers to CMT ADVENTURE COUNTRY, a new night of original programming that includes two original series, GATOR 911 and DANGER COAST, premiering Friday, April 9 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT. ADVENTURE COUNTRY includes 10-episode orders of the two series, each featuring ordinary people with not-so-ordinary jobs and capturing the excitement and suspense of these individuals who risk their lives daily to ensure the safety of others.
GATOR 911 chronicles the adventures of Gary Saurage, conservationist and owner of the Texas-based adventure park, Gator Country, who is on a mission to save alligators, whether they like it or not. Saurage and his team work together to rescue gators from unusual places and deliver them to their new refuge. Episodes of GATOR 911 will premiere Fridays at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT.
DANGER COAST follows the dramatic exploits of Miami-Dade County's elite waterborne Marine Operations Bureau as they engage in unexpected, life-saving activities that no training or experience could prepare them for. These heroes fight against overwhelming odds to selflessly protect the public at large, while risking their own lives. Episodes of DANGER COAST will premiere Fridays at 9:30 p.m., ET/PT.
GATOR 911 is produced by 12 Forward Entertainment, with Melanie Wester and Gary Saurage serving as Executive Producers. Claire McCabe and Bob Kusbit serve as Executive Producers for CMT.
