TV GUIDE NETWORK TEAMS-UP WITH LEGENDARY SHOW CREATOR LARRY DAVID TO LAUNCH "CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM" EXCLUSIVE EXTRAS HOSTED BY SERIES REGULAR SUSIE ESSMAN

Acclaimed Television Producer Scott Carter to Develop and Produce Original Extras to Air Immediately Following Each Series Episode on TV Guide Network

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" Premieres on Basic Cable for First Time Ever on Wednesday, June 2 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT

LOS ANGELES (March 22, 2010) TV Guide Network today announced that it has teamed-up with Larry David (Co-Creator, "Seinfeld"), renowned creator and star of the highly acclaimed HBO comedy series "Curb Your Enthusiasm," to launch exclusive, never-before-seen extras that will air in conjunction with the series run on the network starting this summer. "Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Discussion" will be hosted by comedienne and series regular Susie Essman (Susie Greene) and will feature a panel of high profile guest stars, media pundits and prominent social figures who will debate moral implications featured in each episode. "Curb Your Enthusiasm" will make its basic cable debut on TV Guide Network on Wednesday, June 2 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Larry David said, "Finally, thanks to the TV Guide Network, I'll get a chance to watch actual, intelligent people discuss and debate the issues addressed on 'Curb.' Now if only someone could tell me where this alleged "network" is, I might even watch it."

Susie Essman further commented, "Thanks to Larry, I am on a first name basis with the premium cable audience. And now with TV Guide Network's series run of Curb Your Enthusiasm,' I'll get to be on a first name basis with the basic cable audience, which let's face it, is much, much bigger. My goal is to make this the best seven minute panel show on TV."

In addition, TV Guide Network has hired acclaimed television producer Scott Carter (Executive Producer, "Real Time with Bill Maher" and "Politically Incorrect") who will work in collaboration with Mr. David to develop and produce the extras. "Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Discussion" will air immediately following each episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and will run approximately seven to eight minutes in length each.

"We are honored and thrilled to be working with Larry David and Scott Carter to create a series of original extras that will undoubtedly engage both new and long-time fans of Curb Your Enthusiasm,'" said Diane Robina, Executive Vice President, Programming & Marketing for TV Guide Network. "Their hands-on involvement will ensure that the extras are carefully crafted and set the appropriate tone for a show as brilliant as Curb Your Enthusiasm.'"

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" stars Larry David as himself in an unsparing but tongue-in-cheek depiction of his life. Self-centered, misanthropic and regularly difficult, Larry creates awkwardness and discomfort in social situations. His problems are often caused by his neuroses and obstinate faith in his understanding of ethics and etiquette. "Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Discussion" will highlight a specific moral issue or ethical situation sparked by Larry as featured in an episode of the series. An example from the show may be, if a blind friend started dating a person you found to be unattractive, should you tell your friend? A distinguished panel of guests, moderated by Susie Essman, will watch the episode and then debate the moral implication at hand.

All episodes of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" will air on TV Guide Network in their entirety as full-length episodes. TV Guide Network will preserve the integrity of the show by keeping as much original content as suitable for basic cable audiences. The episodes will be edited by HBO for standards and practices, but will not be edited for time.

Shot in a vrit style and featuring celebrities playing themselves, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is improvised by the actors from an outline created by Larry David. The series also stars Cheryl Hines as David's wife Cheryl, Jeff Garlin as David's manager Jeff and Susie Essman as Jeff's wife Susie. The show was nominated for four Emmys in 2008, including Outstanding Comedy Series. It won the Golden Globe in the Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy category in 2002. In 2003, Robert B. Weide won a directing Emmys for his work on the series. The series has also received awards from the Writers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, Banff Television Festival, American Film Institute and Monte Carlo Television Festival, among others. "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is executive produced by Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Gavin Polone, Alec Berg, David Mandel, Jeff Schaffer, Tim Gibbons and Erin O'Malley.
