Dr Pepper Returns As Official Sponsor of Summer's Hottest Special

TEEN CHOICE 2010, the annual special that celebrates the year's hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion, will air Monday, August 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Additionally, Dr Pepper will return as an official sponsor of the star-studded special.

The coolest stars, best films and most-loved TV shows of 2009-2010 will receive coveted Teen Choice Award Surfboards in categories such as Choice TV Villain, Choice Movie Rockstar Moment, Choice Red Carpet Icon, Choice Music Hookup and Choice Action Sports Athlete. The first round of nominees as well as the event's host(s), performers and presenters will be announced soon.

For 12 years, the special has presented performances and appearances by some of pop music's hottest stars. Hosted by the Jonas Brothers, TEEN CHOICE 2009 featured performances by the Jonas Brothers and The Black Eyed Peas, as well as appearances by Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Zac Efron, Megan Fox, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, Ashley Tisdale, Kristen Bell, Jordana Brewster, Shawn Johnson and Miranda Cosgrove.

TEEN CHOICE 2010 is executive-produced by Bob Bain ("Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards") and Michael Burg. Paul Flattery serves as producer, Kelly Brock is co-producer and Greg Sills serves as supervising producer.
