ALICIA KEYS TO MENTOR TOP 7 FINALISTS ON INSPIRATIONAL SONGS TUESDAY, APRIL 20, ON FOX

Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, The Black Eyed Peas, Annie Lennox, Jeff Beck & Joss Stone and Mary J. Blige & the All-Star Band to Perform on IDOL GIVES BACK Wednesday, April 21

Due to last week's judges' save, two finalists - Andrew Garcia and Katie Stevens - were eliminated tonight from AMERICAN IDOL after receiving the fewest of the season's record-setting more than 34 million votes. On Tuesday's Elvis Presley-themed performance show, Andrew Garcia, 24, from Moreno Valley, CA, sang "Hound Dog," and Katie Stevens, 17, from Middlebury, CT, performed "Baby What You Want Me To Do."

Next week, the Top 7 finalists - Crystal Bowersox, Lee DeWyze, Casey James, Aaron Kelly, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus and Tim Urban - will take the stage Tuesday, April 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX to perform inspirational songs with help from guest mentor Alicia Keys.

Tune in the following night, Wednesday, April 21 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), for the Emmy Award-winning IDOL GIVES BACK. This year, IDOL GIVES BACK will broadcast live from the AMERICAN IDOL stage and the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, where Queen Latifah will emcee the evening and some of music's biggest stars, including Carrie Underwood, The Black Eyed Peas, Annie Lennox, Jeff Beck & Joss Stone and Mary J. Blige & the All-Star Band, will perform. In addition, the week's voting results will be revealed, sending one of the finalists home.
