CASTLE (ABC) - Executive producer Rene Echevarria is departing the series, leaving creator Andrew W. Marlowe as the sole showrunner. Echevarria was brought on for the show's sophomore run following the exit of Barry Schindel after season one. He'll instead focus on development, which includes the MTV pilot "Teen Wolf," on which he likewise served as an executive producer.

MY BOYS (TBS) - The ever-busy Jamie Tarses has reupped her overall deal with Sony Pictures Television. The new two-year pact will keep her FanFare Productions at the studio where she's currently developing four comedy pilots: "Mr. Sunshine" and "Happy Endings" at ABC, "True Love" at CBS and "Franklin & Bash" at TBS. She'll also continue as a non-writing executive producer on TBS's "My Boys" and TNT's "Hawthorne."

THE WALKING DEAD (AMC) - Sarah Wayne Callies ("Prison Break") has landed the female lead on the upcoming drama, about a small-town police officer (Andrew Lincoln) who leads a group of survivors of a zombie apocalypse. She'll play the man's wife, Lori. Frank Darabont is behind the hour, which is also executive produced by Charles Eglee, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Robert Kirkman.
