Drama Inspired by True Story to Premiere on Number One Women's Network This Summer

LOS ANGELES (May 4, 2010) - Screen Actors Guild Award(R) nominee Kim Raver (Grey's Anatomy, 24) has been cast to star in the upcoming Lifetime Original Movie Bond of Silence, it was announced today by Tanya Lopez, Senior Vice President of Original Movies, Lifetime Networks. The film, inspired by a true story, will premiere on the number one women's network this summer.

In Bond of Silence, Raver will star as a widow whose husband is mysteriously murdered while trying to quell a wild teenage house party on New Year's Eve. Searching for answers about her husband's death, the kids and their protective parents keep a shroud of secrecy to prevent her from finding out the truth. She must try and break up the bond to uncover the secrets behind what really happened.

The movie will be executive produced by Patricia Clifford (Lifetime's Sorority Wars),

Ted Bauman (Lifetime Movie Network's Seven Deadly Sins), Michael Jaffe and Howard Braunstein (Lifetime's The Memory Keeper's Daughter). Peter Werner (Lifetime's Army Wives, Ghost Whisperer) will direct the screenplay by Edithe Swensen (Lifetime's Who is Clark Rockefeller?) and Teena Booth (Lifetime's The Pregnancy Pact). Bauman Productions and Jaffe-Braunstein Entertainment will produce.

"Kim Raver is a proven talent who will bring compassion and intelligence to this true story," said Lopez. "It's a coup for Lifetime to have her star in this movie."

She also starred opposite Kiefer Sutherland, and received a 2007 SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, in the Emmy(R) Award-winning serial drama 24 for three seasons.
