SUMMER BELONGS TO USA NETWORK AS "COVERT AFFAIRS" AND "WHITE COLLAR" HEAT UP TUESDAY NIGHTS STARTING JULY 13

USA Continues to Dominate Original Scripted Summer Series

COVERT AFFAIRS, a New Series From the Producers of the Bourne Trilogy and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith"

White Hot WHITE COLLAR Returns

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - May 5, 2010 - This summer, USA will feature the most compelling shows on the hottest network. Adding to the sizzling line-up, including critic's darling and fan favorite, the new hot series WHITE COLLAR will serve as the launch pad for the premiere of the thrilling new series COVERT AFFAIRS, making USA Network the ultimate summer destination. USA's WHITE COLLAR and COVERT AFFAIRS premiere on TUESDAY, JULY 13 at 9/8c and 10/9c, respectively.

Continuing to deliver powerful weekday blocks of originals, USA promises to maintain its position as the Network with the most exciting summer shows starting with ROYAL PAINS and BURN NOTICE in June, followed by WHITE COLLAR, COVERT AFFAIRS and PSYCH in July.

In COVERT AFFAIRS, USA's newest original series, we meet Annie Walker (Piper Perabo), a young CIA trainee who is suddenly thrust into the inner sanctum of the agency after being promoted to field operative. While it appears that she has been hand-picked for her exceptional linguistic skills, it may be something from her past that her CIA bosses are really after. Christopher Gorham plays Auggie Anderson, a CIA military intelligence agent, blinded while on assignment, and Annie's guide in this world of bureaucracy, excitement and intrigue. Peter Gallagher is Arthur Campbell, the formidable director of Clandestine Services for the CIA. Sendhil Ramamurthy plays Jai Wilcox, an agent with a rich family history within the walls of the CIA. Anne Dudek plays Danielle, a married mother of two and Annie's older sister who knows nothing of Annie's life as a spy. Kari Matchett plays Joan, head of the CIA's Domestic Protection Division...and Arthur's wife. From Universal Cable Productions, COVERT AFFAIRS is executive produced by Doug Liman (the "Bourne" trilogy, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," "The O.C.") and Dave Bartis ("The O.C.," "The Heist") through Dutch Oven and written and co-executive produced by Matt Corman ("Deck the Halls") and Chris Ord ("Deck the Halls"). James Parriott (Grey's Anatomy," "Ugly Betty") executive produces. Jonathan Glassner ("Stargate SG-1," "CSI: Miami") is co-executive producer and director. Tim Matheson (USA's BURN NOTICE, PSYCH, "Criminal Minds") directed the pilot.

WHITE COLLAR stars Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson and Sharif Atkins in one of this fall season's most critically-acclaimed dramas about the most unlikely of partnerships between a con artist (Bomer) and an FBI agent (DeKay). Marsha Thomason ("Lost") re-joins the cast as a series regular for season two with Diahann Carroll returning as a recurring guest-star. This exciting crime drama, which was the most critically-acclaimed and highest rated new shows on cable in its first season, will kick off its season two this July with all new cases, more intrigue, more "bromance"...and more Matt Bomer, People Magazine's "Sexiest Rising Star" of 2009. Tim Matheson ("The West Wing," USA's BURN NOTICE) both directs and guest stars in the premiere. WHITE COLLAR was created and is executive produced by Jeff Eastin and comes from Fox Television Studios. Jeff King and Clifton Campbell are co-executive producers. The show is shot entirely in and around New York City. USA's strategic move of WHITE COLLAR to a new night in January resulted in younger audiences and higher demos. The show stayed among the quarter's top scripted originals. WHITE COLLAR enjoyed +17% gains from 2009 in P18-34 viewing and improved +2% in P18-49 viewing from 4Q09. It was one of the only scripted series to average over 2 million P18-49 or 4.5 million total viewers in 1Q10.
