OXYGEN PARTNERS WITH MEETUP FOR "DANCE YOUR ASS OFF" LAUNCH PREMIERING MONDAY, JUNE 7 AT 11PM ET/PT

Oxygen Media Named as Media Launch Partner of New Platform "Meetup Everywhere"

NEW YORK, NY - May 26, 2010 - Oxygen Media has joined forces with Meetup, a platform that helps people organize local "meetups" and community groups about almost anything, for the recently announced "Dance Off A Million" campaign timed to Oxygen's season premiere of dance/weight loss series "Dance Your Ass Off" on Monday, June 7 at 11 pm ET/PT. Additionally, Oxygen Media was announced as a media launch partner for Meetup's new platform, Meetup Everywhere, a free tool that lets people set up a gathering around a common theme or, in this case, a TV show. The announcement was made today by Jennifer Kavanagh, Vice President, Digital and New Media, Oxygen Media.

As a Meetup partner, Oxygen's hit series "Dance Your Ass Off" will sponsor 50 Meetup Groups nationwide, for three months, centered around dance, fitness and weight loss. Oxygen will work with Meetup.com to connect their viewers with each other. Part of this sponsorship deal includes giving back to the participating groups by helping to fund the group's activities for the duration of the sponsorship in an effort to keep their communities and commitment going strong.

"Our audience is so passionate about this show and what it stands for," said Jennifer Kavanagh, Vice President, Digital and New Media, Oxygen Media. "We wanted to take the social connection we have with them and that they have with each other and find a way to help them take it into their offline lives. Meetup Everywhere is the perfect tool for this. We want them to organize, get together, tune in to the show and join us at OxygenLive.com every Monday at 10pm to have fun and celebrate the contestants meeting their goals while celebrating their own at the same time."

"Good things happen when people meet up," said Andres Glusman, Vice President, Strategy and Community, Meetup.com. "Our new Meetup Everywhere platform makes it infinitely easier for any cause, blogger, brand, maven or media property to enable their readers, fans, and followers everywhere to get Meetups going in their towns. Take a show like 'DYAO,' add Meetups Everywhere and you get a whole different kind of viewing experience."

Meetup's new platform, Meetup Everywhere, helps individuals to arrange Meetups organized around an activity, cause, issue or special occasion. As the media launch partner, Oxygen Media will team up to help fans get together offline and generate excitement about "Dance Your Ass Off" content, programming and events. Viewers will be able to go to www.Oxygen.com and view or create a viewing party in their area. The partnership will kick off with the New York leg of the recently announced "Dance Your Ass Off" tour, a five-city tour sponsored by Yoplait that includes the "Dance Off a Million" campaign benefiting the American Heart Association. The New York leg will take place on Monday, June 14 in Times Square. "Dance Your Ass Off's" Meetup Everywhere initiative will work to encourage fans to get together and "Dance Off a Million" at the tour location or in their own towns.
