A&E LAUNCHES TWO NEW ORIGINAL SERIES

"DRILL TEAM," EIGHT EPISODE ONE-HOUR SERIES PREMIERES JUNE 5 AND "$100 MAKEOVER," TEN EPISODE HALF-HOUR SERIES PREMIERES JUNE 19

NEW YORK, NEW YORK MAY 25, 2010 - A&E launches two new original series, "Drill Team" premiering June 5 at 12:00pm ET/PT and "$100 Makeover" premiering June 19 with back-to-back episodes at 10:00am and 10:30am ET/PT, as part of the network's Saturday morning lineup, The Big Fix

In "Drill Team," a team of experts battle the clock to help a desperate homeowner get their renovation project done in time for a big event. Each week "Drill Team" restores the calm after natural disasters and nightmare renovations. With a real deadline only days away, carpenters Jeff Devlin and Brandon Russell along with designer Lauren Makk help save the day for a desperate homeowner. Whether it's picking up the pieces and rebuilding after a tragedy like a fire or flood, or tackling a renovation that's gotten out of hand, the Drill Team transforms unbearable situations into unbelievable realities in each one hour episode.

Jeff Devlin was most recently seen as co-host and resident carpenter of "Spice Up My Kitchen." He got his start as an apprentice for a historic home remodeler where he honed his skills and fostered a blooming passion for designing, creating and building. Fellow carpenter and former model, Brandon Russell signed-on as lead carpenter on the hit show "Trading Spaces" in 2007 where he was able to combine his celebrity looks with his abilities to create and build just about anything. A "Trading Spaces" veteran designer, Lauren Makk brings her hip-hop meets glamour design sensibilities to "Drill Team."

"Drill Team" is produced for A&E Network by Nancy Glass Productions. Executive producers are Nancy Glass, Holly Vogler and Katie Sullivan. Robert Sharenow and Andy Berg are executive producers for A&E.

"$100 Makeover" aims to inspire viewers to de-clutter, organize and redesign their homes.all for only $100 a room. In each episode viewers are shown how to repurpose, reuse and most importantly, reimagine their own spaces by the $100 Makeover team: interior designer Leslie Segrete, master carpenter Rib Hillis, and professional organizer Robbie Laughlin

Leslie Segrete's home improvement skills span radio, television and print. For the past six years, Leslie has worked hard making design dreams into reality as a carpenter and designer for series "Trading Spaces" and "While You Were Out." Rib Hillis is most notably known for his role in changing the lives of one deserving family a week as part of the design team on the Emmy Award-winning "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Robbie Laughlin has enjoyed an extensive career in television and film, guest-starrring on such shows as "Kitchen Confidential," "Six Feet Under," "The Big Easy," "Family Matters," "Cybill," and "Caroline in the City."

"$100 Makeover" is produced for A&E by Screaming Flea Productions. Screaming Flea Productions Executive Producer is Dave Severson, Series Producer is Lee Christofferson. Robert Sharenow and Jessica Morgan are the executive producers for A&E Network.
