We're excited to now enhance the franchise with even more world-class international poker coverage," said David Schiff, GSN's Vice President, Programming and Development. "Saturday nights on GSN will be the go-to destination for serious poker fans."

A full schedule of GSN's new Saturday night poker block is at the bottom of this press release. The block runs from 6pm ET to 3am (ET)/3pm (PT) to 12am (PT).

The world's most exciting poker players - including Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Gus Hansen, Tom Dwan, and Howard Lederer - and the most thrilling poker action can be found Down Under when GSN premieres AUSSIE MILLIONS PRESENTED BY FULLTILT POKER.NET on Saturday, June 5. The largest, richest and most prestigious poker tournament in the Southern Hemisphere, and the fifth-largest in the world, the Aussie Millions Poker Championship in Melbourne, Australia attracts 2,500 entrants from two dozen countries competing for a total prize pool of more than $15 million Australian.

AUSSIE MILLIONS PRESENTED BY FULLTILT POKER.NET features three major events - the $100K Challenge, the Heads Up Championship and the Aussie Millions Main Event - aired across 10 episodes. The world's largest tournament event, the $100K Challenge features 24 of the world's biggest (and richest) players, with the poker elite represented by Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Gus Hansen, Tony G, Barry Greenstein, Tony Bloom, Tom Dwan, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Erick Lindgren and Jeffrey Lisandro. Viewed by many as the purest form of poker, Heads Up is played one on one with each round being the best of three matches. For one of the richest prizes in poker, a field of 746 players anted up the AUD$10,500 buy-in for the Main Event, creating a prize pool of AUD$7.46 million with $2m going to the winner.

The Aussie Millions Poker Championship tournament is held at the Crown Casino, Melbourne's premier entertainment complex, which covers the equivalent of two city blocks.

DOUBLES POKER CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED BY FULLTILTPOKER.NET, premiering on Saturday, August 14 at 9:00pm (ET/PT) is a dramatic new 13-week television series from POKER PROductions that highlights the action at the recent Doubles Poker Championship at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The buy-in for this tournament was a hefty $50,000 per player. Thirty-two of the top professional poker players in the world competed as two-person teams that shared each hand, with $1 million in first-place prize money awarded to the winning team. Among those who competed were big name stars Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, David Benyamine, Annie Duke, Chris Ferguson, Gus Hansen, and Jennifer Harman.
