CBS ORDERS NEW DAYTIME TALK SHOW FOR FALL 2010

One-Hour Daily Talk Show Will Be Co-Hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur

Panelists to Engage Each Other, Entertainers and Newsmakers about Topical Events and Contemporary Issues through the Eyes of Mothers

CBS has ordered a new daytime talk show for fall 2010 featuring a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities who will examine topical events and contemporary issues through the eyes of mothers. The daily, one-hour series will be co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur.

The co-hosts - moms with children ranging in age from infant to adult - will swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes through the lens of motherhood. Show segments will include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, live remotes from the field and personal home footage shot by the co-hosts themselves.

The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.

"Daytime is an evolving daypart with more variety now among soap operas, game and talk shows," said Barbara Bloom, Senior Vice President, Daytime, CBS Entertainment. "We were looking for a new format that would speak to the core audience but also have the topical and entertainment value to go even broader. This panel is not a bashful bunch; they are outspoken on any issue you put on the table. It promises to be an hour of television with timely discussions, unfiltered opinions and a lot of personality."

Julie Chen has been an anchor of "The Early Show," CBS News' weekday morning broadcast, since October 2002. Chen spends her summers doing double duty between co-anchoring "The Early Show" and hosting "Big Brother," a reality series that began its 12th season on CBS in July 2010. Chen lives in New York and Los Angeles with her husband, Leslie Moonves, with whom she has a son and 3 stepchildren.

Sara Gilbert may be best known for her role as Darlene Conner in the long-running series "Roseanne," which garnered her two Emmy nominations. Her additional television credits include roles on "ER," "Twins," "24," "Will & Grace," "Grey's Anatomy," "Law & Order: SVU" and "Private Practice," as well as "Welcome to New York," "The Big Bang Theory" and "The Class" on the Network. She has appeared in films such as "Poison Ivy," "Riding in Cars with Boys," "Desert Blue," "Light It Up," "The Big Tease" and "High Fidelity." A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Yale University with a degree in Art, Gilbert made her directorial debut with the critically acclaimed short film "Persona Non Grata." Gilbert has exhibited her photographs in New York City at Paul Morris Gallery and at the Deutsche Guggenheim Museum in Berlin. She lives in Los Angeles with her family.

Holly Robinson Peete's television credits include "21 Jump Street," "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," "For Your Love," "One on One" and most recently, "Celebrity Apprentice." She also appeared in the telefilm, "Matters of Life & Dating." She performed the theme songs for both "21 Jump Street" and "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," and did her own singing as Diana Ross in the miniseries "The Jacksons: An American Dream." She and her husband, former NFL QB Rodney Peete, formed the HollyRod Foundation in 1996 and HollyRod4Kids in 2000. Robinson Peete won the 2006 Quill Literacy Award for her first book, Get Your Own Damn Beer, I'm Watching the Game: A Women's Guide to Loving Pro Football. In spring 2010, she released her second book, co-authored by her 12-year old daughter, entitled My Brother Charlie. Robinson Peete and her husband of 15 years are the proud parents of four children. They currently reside in Los Angeles.

Sharon Osbourne has managed numerous artists' careers over a 30-year span, and is also credited with creating and producing the first reality celebrity TV show, "The Osbournes," for which she won an Emmy. Her additional television credits include "Will & Grace," "Days of Our Lives" and hosting "The Sharon Osbourne Show." She is currently a judge on "America's Got Talent." She is a best-selling author of three books, including her autobiography, Sharon Osbourne Extreme: My Autobiography. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Ozzy Osbourne. They have three children.

Leah Remini is best known for her role as Carrie Heffernan on the long-running series "The King of Queens," on the Network. Her previous television credits include "Living Dolls," "Saved By the Bell," "Cheers" and "Friends." Her film credits also include "Old School." Since then, she has produced two "Inside Out" wedding and baby specials for VH1, as well as a series of "In the Motherhood" webisodes. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Angelo Pagan, and daughter and three stepsons.

Marissa Jaret Winokur is best known for creating the role of "Tracy Turnblad" in the hit Broadway musical, Hairspray, a performance for which she won a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actress. Winokur was most recently seen as the host "Dance Your Ass Off." Her other television credits include "Dancing With the Stars," "Stacked" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm," as well as the telefilms "It Was One of Us" and "Beautiful Girl," which she also executive produced. She has appeared in such films as "Fever Pitch," "Teaching Mrs. Tingle," "Never Been Kissed," "Scary Movie" and "American Beauty." She is currently a correspondent for TV Guide Network's "Hollywood 411" and "Reality Chat," while starring in the Nora Ephron play, "Love, Loss and What I Wore," at the Geffen Playhouse. Winokur and her husband, comedy writer Judah Miller, reside in Los Angles with their son Zev.

The series is produced by Raquel Productions Inc. Executive producers are Sara Gilbert and John Redmann.
