"BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY" WINS TIME PERIOD IN VIEWERS, ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54

"Big Brother" Posts Gains Over Last Week and Last Year

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY won its time period in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, posting increases over last week and last year, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for July 28.

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in households (4.1/08), viewers (6.63m), adults 25-54 (2.7/09), adults 18-49 (2.2/08) and second in adults 18-34 (1.8/07). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +5% in households (from 3.9/07), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/08), even in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and added +130,000 viewers (from 6.50m, +2%).

Versus the comparable broadcast last year (on Tuesday, July 28, at 9:00 PM), BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +8% in households (from 3.8/06), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06), +6% in adults 18-34 (from 1.7/06) and added +550,000 viewers (from 6.08m, +9%).
