ALL SIGNS OF DEATH (HBO) - Clayne Crawford ("The Glades") has scored a role on the drama pilot, about a slacker-turned-crime scene cleaner (Ben Whishaw) who gets entangled in a murder mystery. No details however were given about his character. Alan Ball is helming the pilot off a script by Charlie Huston.
I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR BAND (HBO, New!) - Lizzy Caplan ("Party Down") is on track to star in a potential new comedy at the pay channel based on Julie Klausner's memoir of the same name, about her "experiences from her preadolescent sexual awakenings through the unsavory details of sleeping with a gallery of losers throughout her 20s." Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are behind the half-hour via their Gary Sanchez Productions. Chris Henchy and Jessica Elbaum are also attached as executive producers with Caplan and Owen Burke receiving producing credits.
REED BETWEEN THE LINES (BET, New!) - "Girlfriends" alum Tracee Ellis Ross is set to topline a new comedy at the cable channel, about "a busy psychiatrist, wife and mom struggling to balance her job and her happy but chaotic homelife." She'll play said woman, Dr. Carla Reed. Kellie Griffin penned the pilot, which she's executive producing alongside Arthur Harris. Production begins next month in Atlanta.
