CHASE (NBC) - Former "CSI: Miami" co-star Eddie Cibrian has landed a role on the freshman drama. He'll play a bounty hunter in at least two episodes of the series, which airs on Monday nights this fall. No other details were given.
LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES (NBC) - Wanda De Jesus ("CSI Miami") and Regina Hall ("Ally McBeal") have booked the final principal roles on the latest incarnation of the franchise. The former will play Lt. Arleen Gonzales, "the cool and authoritative captain of the LAPD Robbery Homicide Division," with Hall as DDA Eva Price, "a gorgeous and brainy bombshell with a strong sense of moral rectitude." Skeet Ulrich, Alfred Molina, Terrence Howard and Corey Stoll also star in the series, which begins production this week.
NO. 1 LADIES DETECTIVE AGENCY (HBO) - Producers are reportedly planning to film two 90-minute "No. 1 Ladies" features based on the short-lived HBO series. Pre-production is set to begin later this year in South Africa, with occasional shoots on location in Botswana. The original pilot and series were filmed in Botswana, where the books take place. It's understood producers opted to relocate to Cape Town after being offered tax incentives to film there. No specifics however were given about the new films.
