BROTHERS & SISTERS (ABC) - Balthazar Getty is departing the series after five seasons. The actor appeared in a reduced role this past season but was still credited as a series regular. Said exit is billed as a creative decision and will be detailed in the season premiere on September 26. Co-stars Rob Lowe and Emily VanCamp are also departing however VanCamp will return for a handful of episodes to wrap up her storyline.
REED BETWEEN THE LINES (BET) - Malcolm-Jamal Warner ("Sherri") has joined the cast of the Tracee Ellis Ross-led comedy pilot, about "a busy psychiatrist, wife and mom struggling to balance her job and her happy but chaotic homelife." He'll reportedly play her husband in the project, which comes from creator Kellie Griffin.
WILFRED (FX) - Fiona Gubelmann has been tapped as the female lead on the comedy pilot, about a man (Elijah Wood) who sees his girlfriend's dog as a real person dressed in a dog costume (Jason Gann), with whom he quickly develops a grudge. She'll play Sarah, said girlfriend, in the project, which comes from director Randall Einhorn and writer David Zuckerman.
