COMEDY CENTRAL's(R) 'Indecision 2010' Presents 'When Grizzlies Attack: The Daily Show Midterm Teapartyganza' Covering the Mid-Term Elections to Tape in Washington, DC at the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Sidney Harman Hall From Monday, October 25-Thursday, October 28

Tickets To DC Shows May Be Requested At www.thedailyshow.com

NEW YORK, Aug. 16 -- "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" will travel to political hot bed, Washington, DC, to broadcast a week of shows as part of its ongoing "Indecision 2010" coverage of the fiercely contested midterm elections. "When Grizzlies Attack: The Daily Show Midterm Teapartyganza" will be taped at the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Sidney Harman Hall and air nightly at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT from Monday, October 25 through Thursday, October 28.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company's Sidney Harman Hall is located at 610 F Street NW. Tickets for the tapings will be available only through the show's Web site, www.thedailyshow.com, not through the venue's box office.

"When Grizzlies Attack: The Daily Show Midterm Teapartyganza" will feature news and analysis on heated races across the country from host Jon Stewart as well as reports from "The Daily Show" News Team (Samantha Bee, Wyatt Cenac, Jason Jones, Aasif Mandvi and John Oliver).

This marks the eighth time the series has taken its critically-acclaimed and award-winning "Indecision" coverage on the road to broadcast for a week, having previously travelled to Philadelphia (2000 RNC), Los Angeles (2000 DNC), Boston (2004 DNC), Denver (2008 DNC) and Minneapolis (2008 RNC) to cover the national party conventions, to Washington, D.C. (2002) and Columbus, OH (2006) for special, mid-term election coverage. The series first earned its political stripes during the now-infamous 2000 election, receiving an Emmy(R) Award and a prestigious George Foster Peabody(R) Award for its year-long "Indecision 2000" coverage of the race for the White House, feats repeated during the series' "Indecision 2004" election reporting.

"The Daily Show" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:00 p.m. and repeats at 1:30 a.m. the same night and at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. the following day (all times ET/PT). Full episodes, as well as clips, are posted for viewing the following day at www.thedailyshow.com with URL and embed links.

Jon Stewart, Rory Albanese and Josh Lieb are the executive producers of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" with Kahane Cooperman serving as co-executive producer. Supervising producers are Steve Bodow, Jennifer Flanz, Hillary Kun, Adam Lowitt and Jim Margolis. Jill Katz is the executive in charge of production. The series' head writer is Steve Bodow and it is directed by Chuck O'Neil.

About the Shakespeare Theatre Company:

The Shakespeare Theatre Company's innovative approach to Shakespeare and other classic playwrights has earned it the reputation as the nation's premier classical theatre company. By focusing on works with profound themes, complex characters and poetic language written by Shakespeare, his contemporaries and the playwrights he influenced, the Company's artistic mission is unique among theatre companies: to present theatre of scope and size in an imaginative, skillful and accessible American style that honors the playwrights' language and intentions while viewing their work through a 21st-century lens.

In its 2007-2008 season, the Company opened the Harman Center for the Arts consisting of Sidney Harman Hall and the Lansburgh Theatre, both located in downtown Washington's Penn Quarter neighborhood. A dynamic hub of activity, the Harman Center showcases the Company as well as outstanding local performing arts groups and nationally renowned organizations.
