First Ever Cable Network Win In Outstanding Reality Competition Program Category

NEW YORK - August 30, 2010 - Bravo's "Top Chef" took home the Emmy as it broke the "Amazing Race's" seven-year winning streak for "Outstanding Reality Competition Program" at The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy(R) Awards ceremony on Sunday, August 29th in Los Angeles. Bravo continues to dominate the Reality Competition Category by being the first cable network ever nominated and the only network - broadcast or cable - to have had more than one nomination per year (2007 -2009 for "Top Chef" and "Project Runway"). In this category, this is the first cable network win, "Top Chef's" fourth consecutive nomination and Bravo's overall ninth nomination in six years.
