Half Hour Pilot From the Producers of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and the Producer of the "Bourne" Trilogy

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - September 3, 2010 - I JUST WANT MY PANTS BACK, the new half hour MTV comedy pilot produced by Universal Cable Productions (COVERT AFFAIRS, ROYAL PAINS), began production in New York this week. I JUST WANT MY PANTS BACK is based on the novel of the same name by David J. Rosen, who penned the pilot. The pilot is executive produced by Doug Liman (the "Bourne" trilogy, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," "The O.C.") who also directs, Dave Bartis ("The O.C.," "The Heist") and Gene Klein through Hypnotic, Inc. I JUST WANT MY PANTS BACK is about young 20-somethings who try to make a life for themselves in New York City. Although they haven't quite found their career paths yet, they find they're pretty good at dating and enjoying their carefree life. Newcomer Peter Vack was cast in the lead role as "Jason Strider." Actress Kim Shaw will play "Tina," Elisabeth Hower is "Stacey," and Jordan Carlos is "Eric." Chris Parnell (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, 30 ROCK), recurs as "JB," Strider's boss.
