"THE DUKES OF HAZZARD" RIDE AGAIN IN A 33-HOUR WEEKEND MARATHON OF THE BELOVED SERIES BEGINNING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 ON CMT

NASHVILLE - September 9, 2010 - CMT is set to bring back one of America's most-loved series when THE DUKES OF HAZZARD returns in a 33-hour weekend marathon kicking off Friday, September 10 at 8 p.m., ET/PT. In THE DUKES RIDE AGAIN ON CMT marathon, the network will air back-to-back episodes throughout the weekend starting with the very first one that introduced the family of modern-day Robin Hoods. THE DUKES OF HAZZARD begins its regular weeknight timeslots of 7:00-8:00 p.m., ET/PT, on Monday, September 13 on CMT.

The unmistakable voice of music legend Waylon Jennings introduced America, in both theme song and show narration, to Bo, Luke, and Daisy Duke, and a new pop culture phenomenon exploded onto TV sets across the nation in 1979. THE DUKES OF HAZZARD made short-shorts, fast cars and CB radios cool as the series became a mainstay in homes and hearts for seven wildly successful seasons. Cousins Bo, Luke, and Daisy Duke along with their Uncle Jesse fought the corrupt political system in Hazzard County.

CMT first brought the series to cable in 2005, where it launched to become the network's highest-rated day, week and month among adults 18-49 up to that time.
