SANDRA SCHRON ELEVATED TO VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCTION FOR USA NETWORK, SLEUTH AND UNIVERSAL HD

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - September 14, 2010 - Sandra Schron has been promoted to vice president, production, for USA Network, Sleuth and Universal HD, it was announced today by Chris McCumber, executive vice president of marketing, digital and brand strategy, to whom Schron reports. Schron is based in NY.

"Throughout her tenure with the network, Sandra has proven herself to be a vital leader of the production team and has been instrumental in the flawless execution and delivery of our marketing materials," McCumber said.

Formerly director of production on-air, Schron will continue to oversee project management and production of all promotional materials created for on-air promotion, off-air advertising, online and consumer promotions and has the added responsibility of oversight for Sleuth and Universal HD.

Schron has been a key player on the USA marketing team, which in recent years has won a D&AD award, One Show Award and numerous Promax and BDA awards. Most recently, USA was named a finalist for a Beacon Award from the Association of Cable Communicators (ACC) for the work Schron and her team did on the Characters Unite PSAs.

In 2006, Schron was elevated to director of production on-air, marketing division, for USA. As such, she was responsible for managing a multi-million dollar production budget and planning the physical production of all promotional materials created by and for the network's on-air promotions, off-air advertising, online and consumer promotions. This included brand and image campaigns, TV and radio promos, film and video shoots, trade and consumer print advertising, gallery and episodic photography and press kits for all marketing, publicity and ad sales divisions. During her tenure at USA, Schron has worked on the promos for such shows as BURN NOTICE, ROYAL PAINS, WHITE COLLAR and COVERT AFFAIRS, the network's latest hit original series, to name a few.

A graduate of St. Francis College with a B.A. in Communications, Schron began her career in operations before segueing into marketing. After a stint at Lifetime Television, she joined the marketing division for SyFy. As associate producer, she produced promos for shows such as "Crossing Over with John Edward" (2001), Steven Spielberg's "Taken" (2002) and "Children of Dune" (2003), among others, and was also involved in SyFy's rebranding. She continued to rise through the ranks and was ultimately promoted to project manager, on-air for the marketing division. In this capacity she managed over 500 marketing and promotional initiatives each year for on-air, publicity, consumer promotions, ad sales, interactive and SCI FI Magazine.

Schron also is an active member of the GE Women's Network, Executive Moms and the TV Diva Network Alliance.
