LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- TBS has pulled the plug on its veteran comedy "My Boys" after four seasons.
No specific reason was given for the decision, which was confirmed to the various trade publications this afternoon.
Back-to-back episodes (serving as its de facto finale) drew a modest 784,000 viewers this past Sunday - including a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49.
The news comes after a storied summer for co-stars Jordana Spiro and Kyle Howard - who had been attached to NBC's "Love Bites" and "Perfect Couples," respectively - but were let go due to their first position status on "My Boys."
Howard was ultimately replaced by Kyle Bornheimer while Spiro's character was written out as part of an overall revamp to "Bites."
Earlier today TBS revealed its new hour-long dramedy "Glory Daze" will premiere Tuesday, November 16 at 10:00/9:00c.
