TLC Renews New Series "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta" and "Strange Sex"

TLC RENEWS NEW SERIES "SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA" AND "STRANGE SEX"

Network Also Brings Back Hit Series TODDLERS AND TIARAS, I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS PREGNANT, and FOUR WEDDINGS for New Seasons

TLC has announced that it has renewed new series SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA for a second season slated to premiere summer 2011 with 18 half-hour episodes. Set in one of the largest and busiest bridals salons in the south- Bridals by Lori- the series takes viewers behind the scenes as each particular and strong-willed southern bride sets out to find her perfect wedding dress. Season 1 premieres of SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA averaged 1.3 million P2+ viewers. TLC has also ordered a second season of new series STRANGE SEX, with 10 half-hour episodes slated to premiere April 2011. Season 1 premieres of STRANGE SEX averaged 1.2 million P2+ viewers. STRANGE SEX profiles mysterious conditions and the science behind sexual attraction.

The network has also announced three other renewals:

FOUR WEDDINGS has been picked up for a third season, slated to premiere in February 2011 with 10 hour-long episodes. Season 1 premiere episodes averaged 1.1 million P2+ viewers and the season 2 premiere this past Friday, September 10 attracted 1.3 million P2+ viewers. In each episode of FOUR WEDDINGS, four unique brides with their own personal styles and traditions agree to attend and judge each other's weddings on the basis of food, dress, venue, originality, and overall experience. The winning bride is awarded a five-star dream honeymoon.

TODDLERS AND TIARAS has been picked up for a fourth season, airing summer 2011. The network has ordered 18 hour-long episodes. The second part of season 3 is set to premiere December 2010. Premiere episodes from season three averaged 1.4 million P2+ viewers. TODDLERS AND TIARAS goes behind-the-scenes of the child beauty pageant circuit and profiles a number of young contestants from all different ages and backgrounds, as well as their passionate and overzealous parents.

I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS PREGNANT has been picked up for a fourth season, set to premiere in June 2011 with 10 half-hour episodes. Season three premieres averaged 962,000 P2+ viewers. I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS PREGNANT is an intense series that reveals the astonishing stories of women who conceive and carry their babies all the way to labor and delivery, while never even knowing they were pregnant.
