ABC Gives "Primetime: What Would You Do?" Friday Slot

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC is adding "Primetime: What Would You Do?" to its Friday lineup.

The newsmagazine will return with new episodes on Friday, October 22 at 9:00/8:00c. Correspondent John Quinones first tweeted an October 29 return date last night, which has subsequently been bumped up to October 22.

The network originally planned to roll out its Dana Delany-led drama "Body of Proof" in said slot, however with the cancellation of "My Generation" - not to mention "The Whole Truth" and "Detroit 1-8-7" underperforming at best - it's widely expected to assume one of the aforementioned show's slots.

Repeats will continue to fill the Friday, 8:00/7:00c hour for the time being. It's still not clear when "Secret Millionaire" - which like "Proof" was originally announced to air on the night - will premiere.
