TV GUIDE NETWORK TO PREMIERE EXCLUSIVE U.S. TELECAST OF BRITISH ACADEMY OF FILM AND TELEVISION ARTS LOS ANGELES' BRITANNIA AWARDS ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7

BAFTA Los Angeles Honors Jeff Bridges, Christopher Nolan, Ridley Scott and Tony Scott, Michael Sheen and Betty White

LOS ANGELES (October 25, 2010) - TV GUIDE NETWORK announced today that it has landed the exclusive U.S. rights to the 19th Annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) Britannia Awards on Sunday, November 7 at 8:00pm ET/PT, marking the first time the Britannia Awards have ever been broadcast on American television. Prior to the award show, the network will air a 30-minute red carpet special at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT, featuring the celebrity honorees Jeff Bridges, Christopher Nolan, Scott Free Productions (Ridley Scott and Tony Scott), Michael Sheen and Betty White, with presenters including Marion Cotillard, Dakota Fanning, Carey Mulligan, Kevin Spacey and Olivia Wilde.

The Britannia Awards celebrate the achievements of those who made an outstanding contribution to the entertainment industry in the United States and Great Britain. The awards are seen in France, Canada, the UK, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg; Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden and throughout the Pan Asian territories including Singapore, South Korea and more.

The 2010 honorees include Jeff Bridges for the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film; Michael Sheen for the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year; Christopher Nolan for the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing; Scott Free Productions for the Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Filmed Entertainment; and Betty White for the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence In Comedy. The Britannia Awards will be hosted by the well-respected British actor and comedian, Stephen Fry.
