ABC FAMILY CELEBRATES THE SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS WITH SINGER/SONGWRITER COLBIE CAILLAT AS SHE PUTS HER OWN HOLIDAY TOUCH ON THE NETWORK'S "25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS" THEME SONG

Burbank, CA (November 15, 2010) - ABC Family celebrates the return of the network's annual "25 Days of Christmas" programming event, now in its 13th year, with a new holiday theme song featuring the talents of singer/songwriter, Colbie Caillat. The song will make its ABC Family debut on Sunday, November 21 - the first day of the network's "Countdown to 25 Days" event (November 21-30) -- and will run throughout "25 Days of Christmas" (December 1-25). In addition, a full-length music video featuring Caillat (as part of the song's new rendering) will make its worldwide premiere on the network the following day, Monday, November 22.

"Colbie brings a warm, optimistic, Millennial spirit to our '25 Days of Christmas' event that fits our network brand not only during the holidays, but year round," said Michelle Walenz, Senior Vice President & Creative Director, ABC Family. This new holiday theme song will be used throughout all network initiatives in support of "Countdown" and "25 Days of Christmas," from on-air promos to radio and in-theatre spots as well as all online and social media efforts. A two-time Grammy(R) winner, Caillat wrote new lyrics and re-orchestrated the "25 Days of Christmas" theme song to fit her contemporary sound and soulful voice, while at the same time staying true to the heart of ABC Family's Millennial brand. In keeping with the family spirit of the network during the holidays, she enlisted the help of her father, Ken Caillat, to produce the song and co-wrote the lyrics with Justin Young.

The full-length music video featuring Caillat's new version of the theme song will make its worldwide premiere during the network's hit original movie "Holiday in Handcuffs," starring Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez, airing at 9:00PM ET/PT.
