TRAVIE MCCOY and DAVID ARCHULETA ROCK IN 2011 ON "NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE" FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31, ON FOX

Multi-platinum recording artist Travie McCoy and AMERICAN IDOL finalist David Archuleta will take the stage to perform their latest hits on NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE airing Friday, Dec. 31 (11:00 PM-12:30 AM ET live; CT/MT/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

As 2011 nears, host Nancy O'Dell and FOX cameras will capture every electrifying moment from Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and the heart of New York City as the world-famous New Year's Eve Ball makes its descent into Times Square. Additional performers to be announced soon.

Having just returned from a worldwide tour that included dates throughout Australia and Europe, hip-hop/pop artist Travie McCoy has made a name for himself in the U.S. and abroad as a charismatic, crowd-pleasing performer. This year, McCoy burned up the charts with his hit single "Billionaire (feat. Bruno Mars)" from his debut solo album, "Lazarus." McCoy first appeared on the scene as the frontman of the alternative hip-hop band Gym Class Heroes, and is currently working on his next release with the group, due out next year.

AMERICAN IDOL Season Seven runner-up David Archuleta captured two years' worth of introspection and reflection, dozens of songwriting sessions and long days spent in the studio on his recently released second album, "The Other Side of Down." The follow-up to his 2008 self-titled debut, the album serves as a reintroduction to the 19-year-old Murray, UT, native who has the angelic voice 30 million viewers fell in love with on IDOL.

NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE is executive-produced by Bob Bain, produced by Paul Flattery and directed by Michael Dempsey.
