"STORM STORIES" RETURNS WITH FLURRY OF NEW EPISODES FOR FALL 2011

(December 13, 2010) - Litton Entertainment announced today that they have acquired 52 new original episodes of STORM STORIES, the successful series now entering its fourth year of syndication. Popular with stations and viewers, the series chronicles the true stories of survivors and rescuers battling amazing weather events. The new episodes, all in HD, will be available in syndication to stations Fall 2011.

New content includes "Boy Scouts Tornado," stories of bravery and determination when a fierce tornado strikes a ranch during a campout, and "Lost Family," a dramatic tale of snowstorm survival when a plane goes down in Yosemite National Park. Other episodes include "Erin and the Drainpipe" which is an unbelievable story of a man sucked into a drain during a tropical storm who lives to tell about the fight of his life; "Iniki Jurassic," in which fantasy and reality collide as a powerful hurricane threatens Steven Spielberg and crew on location in the Hawaiian Islands; "Florida Fog" in which deadly smoke and fog cause a 70-car pileup with emergency responders becoming victims; and the story of a heroic nine-year-old boy who helped rescue his mother during a freak electrical storm in "Lightning Mom."

STORM STORIES captures the drama of ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances, with harrowing, yet inspiring tales told through first-person accounts and archived footage. Produced in HD by NBCU's Peacock Productions, these new episodes capture even more of Mother Nature's fury unleashed. From tornados to tropical storms, from mudslides to microbursts, STORM STORIES illuminates the awesome power of weather, but the program's true essence is the human stories of the rescuers and survivors - real life heroes who could be our next-door neighbors.
