TLC UNCOVERS UNIQUE ANTIQUES IN NEW SERIES "WHAT THE SELL?!" SET TO PREMIERE ON MARCH 29TH

Los Angeles, CA - TLC announces it will premiere new series WHAT THE SELL?! on Tuesday March 29th airing at 10PM (ET/PT). The series, which follows a family of master appraisers, debuted as a pilot in November 2010 to strong ratings, achieving an average HH rating of 1.4 and averaging 1.9 million P2+ viewers. Fourteen 30-minute episodes have been ordered and will air back to back with the finale airing May 23rd.

The shop is run by a three-generation appraising team of: Kate, the daughter, Judy, her mother, and Gloria, her grandmother. Viewers will be taken into their hectic days managing their extremely large antique store just outside of Chicago, Illinois. Working together, this family discovers immaculate vintage jewelry, decorative accessories from around the world, historic art & photographs and even archaeological finds that walk into their store. With quick wits and savvy business sense, these ladies barter, buy and sell these timeless treasures like it's just another day in the office.

"This series, with a compelling family dynamic and items rich with personal stories, is a natural fit for TLC. Viewers will get an inside look at dealing in antiques through the unique perspective of this multi-generational family," says Howard Lee, SVP Production and Development.

WHAT THE SELL?! is executive produced for TLC by Leftfield Pictures. Executive producers are Brent Montgomery and Colby Gaines, along with co-executive producer Courtney Montgomery.
