LOS ANGELES, March 10, 2011 � Filming has begun in San Francisco on the HBO Films production HEMINGWAY & GELLHORN, starring Academy Award(R) nominee and Golden Globe winner Clive Owen ("Closer," "Children of Men") and Academy Award(R) and three-time Golden Globe winner Nicole Kidman ("The Hours," "Rabbit Hole") in the title roles. Scheduled to debut on HBO in 2012, HEMINGWAY & GELLHORN recounts the tumultuous romance and subsequent marriage of literary master Ernest Hemingway (Clive Owen) and up-and-coming war correspondent Martha Gellhorn (Nicole Kidman), following them through the Spanish Civil War and beyond. As she grew in reputation and stature, Gellhorn stood toe-to-toe with Hemingway, putting his famous bravado and iconic style to the test.
