Finalists Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia were eliminated tonight on AMERICAN IDOL after they received the fewest of the record-setting more than 55 million votes. On Wednesday's performance show, the Top 11 performed the songs of Sir Elton John, and Adedapo, 26, from Milwaukee, WI, sang "I'm Still Standing," and Megia, 16, from Hayward, CA, sang "Daniel." Tonight's episode also featured performances by Season Three IDOL winner Fantasia and a musical collaboration by will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas and Academy Award and Grammy winner Jamie Foxx.

On Wednesday, April 6 (8:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 9 finalists - Casey Abrams, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Haley Reinhart and Pia Toscano - return to the IDOL stage to perform songs from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The IDOLs will be accompanied by legendary rock guitarist Jeff Beck, who will be performing with Ray Chew and the AMERICAN IDOL band.

Tune in the following night, Thursday, April 7 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), to the live results show to find out who receives enough votes to stay in the competition and who is sent home. In addition, Season Four IDOL finalist and Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis will return to the IDOL stage to perform.
