NBC Cancels "Event," "Law & Order: LA," "Outsourced," "Chase"; ABC Axes "Brothers & Sisters," "V," "No Ordinary Family," "Off the Map"

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has canceled "The Event," "Law & Order: LA" and "Outsourced" while ABC has axed veteran drama "Brothers & Sisters" and sci-fi entry "V."
"Outsourced" co-star Rizwan Manji broke the news via his Twitter account, saying "Before it hits the trades - Outsourced isn't coming back. Sad to see it go - hopeful that this opportunity was a step towards others! Thanx all!"
[UPDATED 12:20 PM!] Also getting the hook from the Alphabet: "Better With You," "Detroit 1-8-7," "Mr. Sunshine," "No Ordinary Family" and "Off the Map."
[UPDATED 1:01 PM!] In addition, the Peacock has pulled the plug on "America's Next Great Restaurant," "Chase," "Perfect Couples" and "School Pride."
