The Style Network's Annual Two Hour Hit Special "Clean House: Messiest Home in the Country 5" Reveals the Most Cluttered Home in America on Wednesday, June 29 at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT

Special Guest Vicki Gunvalson (Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Orange County") Joins the "Clean House" Team to Help this Mega Messy Family

Valuable Hidden Gems Found Deep in the Clutter are Sold at Live Auction to Benefit "The Wounded Warrior Project"

(Los Angeles, CA, May 24th, 2011) - Just when they thought they'd seen it all, The Style Network's "Clean House" descended upon Richmond, Va., for "Clean House: Messiest Home in the Country 5." After receiving thousands of submissions from all over the country for the popular special, the team was blown away by what they found lurking inside this two-story house. From mold-encrusted, non-working bathrooms to a kitchen crawling with critters, the home was rife with clutter. Messiness aside, the emotional debris was unlike anything the "Clean House" team had ever seen.so they called in reinforcements! From Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Vicki Gunvalson - famous for her outstanding work ethic and tough love - worked hand in hand with the team and family to help them lose the distinct "honor" of having the messiest home in all of America. Also, during the "Clean House" yard sale, for the first time, a live auction will be held for the unwanted valuable items found in the home with this year's proceeds being donated to "The Wounded Warrior Project." The two-hour special event, "Clean House: Messiest Home in the Country 5," premieres on Wednesday, June 29th at 9:00pm ET/PT. In anticipation of the big event, Style will air "Clean House: Best of the Worst Messiest Home Moments" on Wednesday, June 22nd at 10:30pm ET/PT.

From the outside, no one would ever guess that this quaint Victorian home on the outskirts of Richmond concealed such disastrous clutter - both physically and emotionally. Lillian has been separated from her husband Bill of over 20 years and has allowed her home to become cluttered beyond recognition. Two daughters have called it quits and moved out because the mess is too much to bear, and Lillian is on the verge of losing her remaining daughter - leaving her completely alone. Complicating things even further is Lillian's unique, estranged relationship with Bill. Although they haven't lived together in almost two decades, she still irons his shirts and he still pays Lillian's bills. Lillian has not worked in 22 years and can't even explain how she spends her time, but suffice it to say. she isn't cleaning.

Throughout the two-hour special, viewers witness first-hand all the drama, horror and, eventually, excitement surrounding Lillian's home revitalization. Vicki and the "Clean House" team - Lisa Arch, Didi Snyder, Matt Iseman and Joel Steingold - help Lillian come face-to-face with the reasons behind the mess. While the experts are busy sifting through the rubble, creating designs and working on the yard sale, Vicki is trying to connect with Lillian and open up her eyes to the fact that she needs to become an independent woman. Vicki candidly talks about the strength she needed to finally end her own marriage and how being a working individual has given her the confidence to be not only a better person, but a better mother.

After hauling out an impressive 83 garbage bags, 468 boxes of unwanted - and unnecessary - items are gathered for a huge yard sale that covers 80,000 square feet with the profits being donated to "The Wounded Warrior Project," a charity that has a special place in Lillian's heart as her father is a Korean and Vietnam War vet. The Style Network then gives the home a complete head-to-toe make-over, providing the family with a fresh new outlook on life.

"Clean House: Messiest Home in the Country 5" premieres Wednesday, June 29th at 9:00pm ET/PT on The Style Network. Offering viewers three chances to watch, Style will re-air the special again on Thursday, June 30th and Friday, July 1st at 9:00pm ET/PT.
