Burbank, CA (Monday, June 27, 2011) - "State of Georgia" star Raven-Symoné, along with author/show creator/executive producer Jennifer Weiner, will be tweeting live during the series premiere of the all-new ABC Family comedy, "State of Georgia," on Wednesday, June 29 from 8:30-9:00PM ET (5:30-6:00PM PT). Viewers can join the conversation by tweeting questions to #GeorgiaChat. "State of Georgia" will follow the summer return of the network's hit comedy series "Melissa & Joey," as part of ABC Family's all new Wednesday one-hour comedy block.

In addition, author and "State of Georgia" creator and executive producer Jennifer Weiner will give viewers an inside look during the cast and crew premiere party taking place on Wednesday, June 29, in Los Angeles beginning at 7:00PM PT (10:00PM ET). A half-hour multi-cam comedy series, "State of Georgia" stars Raven-Symoné as Georgia, an aspiring actress with a larger-than-life personality, and her science geek best friend, Jo (Majandra Delfino), who are trying to make professional and personal headway in New York City. The series also stars Loretta Devine ("Grey's Anatomy," "Jumping the Broom") as Aunt Honey. An ABC Studios Production, "State of Georgia" is executive-produced by Kirk J.
