OWN to Add "Extraordinary Acts of Courage," "Home Takeover" in August

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will add "Extraordinary Acts of Courage" and "Home Takeover with Simon & Tomas" to its lineup in August, the network confirmed today.
Half-hour entry "Extraordinary Acts," due Friday, August 5 at 10:00/9:00c, tells the stories of everyday heroes, their brave actions and how the lives of all involved have changed because of the experience. Then on Saturday, August 6 at 10:00/9:00c, look for "Home Takeover," in which lauded Swedish interior designers Simon Davies and Tomas Cederlund bring their talents to the U.S. The hour-long series was previously slated to roll out in March.
The duo will join the previously announced "Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind," premiering Sunday, August 28 at 10:00/9:00c.
And finally, OWN will shift newcomer "Carson Nation" to Sunday nights at 9:00/8:00c to help bridge the final installments of "Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes" at 8:00/7:00c and "Ryan & Tatum: The O'Neals." The series had been airing on Saturday nights at 10:00/9:00c.
