TRACE ADKINS AND KRISTIN CHENOWETH TO HOST "AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS" MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, LIVE ON FOX

Multi-platinum recording artist Trace Adkins will reprise his role alongside Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth as hosts of the second annual AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS, airing live from Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 5 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS is the only country music awards show that gives fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists not only in traditional categories but also in previously unrecognized areas of the business such as touring, encompassing the entire spectrum of country music and bestowing honors that no other awards show has. Nominees, performers and presenters are to be announced.

The inaugural AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS featured performances by Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Easton Corbin, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Blake Shelton, Steel Magnolia, Josh Turner, The Band Perry and Uncle Kracker, as well as appearances by Laura Bell Bundy, Rodney Carrington, Jeff Dunham, Travis Pastrana, Jaron and The Long Road to Love, Jewel, Lady Antebellum, Jennette McCurdy, Bret Michaels, Ty Murray, Jerrod Niemann, Michael Waltrip and Lee Ann Womack.

With his trademark baritone, Trace Adkins is one of Country music's most accomplished entertainers. In addition to 15 Top Ten hits, as well as Gold(R), Platinum(R) and Multi-Platinum(R) albums with total sales surpassing 10 million, he is a television personality, an actor, a voiceover narrator and commercial spokesman and an author. He competed on the first season of "The Celebrity Apprentice" and appeared in the box-office topping feature film "The Lincoln Lawyer." His hits include "Every Light in the House Is On," "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing," "You're Gonna Miss This," "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" and "All I Ask For Anymore." A Grammy Award nominee and member of the Grand Ole Opry, Adkins is currently touring in support of his new album, "Proud To Be Here."

Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth is an accomplished singer and actress of stage, television and film. Her upcoming country album "Some Lessons Learned" will be released September 13. She is known for her Tony Award-nominated turn as the original "Glinda the Good Witch" in Broadway's "Wicked" and her show-stealing, Tony-winning performance in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." She recently received her second Emmy nomination for her role of "April Rhodes" on the hit series GLEE. She also earned an Emmy for her role as "Olive Snook" on "Pushing Daisies." Next, she stars in the upcoming series "Good Christian Belles."

AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS is executive-produced by Bob Bain (TEEN CHOICE 2011, "Kids' Choice Awards"). Paul Flattery, Tisha Fein and Fletcher Foster serve as producers; and Greg Sills is supervising producer. Michael Dempsey will direct the special.
