HBO Films' "Too Big to Fail": Encore plays this Wednesday and Sunday
EDITORS, PLEASE NOTE:
In light of the ongoing economic turmoil, your readers may be interested to know that the HBO Films presentation TOO BIG TO FAIL will receive special encore plays this Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) and Sunday, Aug. 21 at 10:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on the main HBO channel. In addition, the film will be available on HBO On Demand from Monday, Aug. 22 to Monday, Sept. 26.
Based on the bestselling book by Andrew Ross Sorkin, TOO BIG TO FAIL offers an intimate look at the epochal financial crisis of 2008 and the powerful men and women who decided the fate of the world's economy in a matter of a few weeks. HBO Films presents a Curtis Hanson Film, in association with Spring Creek Productions; Curtis Hanson directs from a script by Peter Gould; based on the book by Andrew Ross Sorkin; Curtis Hanson, Paula Weinstein, and Jeffrey Levine executive produce.
Debuting on HBO in May, TOO BIG TO FAIL recently received 11 Emmy(R) nominations, including Outstanding Miniseries or Movie, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (William Hurt), 2 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Paul Giamatti, James Woods), Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special (Curtis Hanson) and Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special (Peter Gould).
