HGTV'S "SELLING SPELLING MANOR" OFFERS EXCLUSIVE LOOK INSIDE THE AWE-INSPIRING MEGA-MANSION OF CANDY SPELLING

New York, N.Y. [For Immediate Release - November 10, 2011] - Candy Spelling had just 30 days to move out after closing the sale on Spelling Manor, the 56,500 square foot family home where she and television producer, the late Aaron Spelling entertained presidents, royalty and Hollywood legends. HGTV's Selling Spelling Manor, premiering on Thursday, December 15, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, invites viewers along as Candy gives an exclusive tour of the mansion's more than 15 specialty areas, including a bowling alley; a billiard room; an arcade; a collector's gallery with more than 700 dolls; a projection room with a large-scale screen and full surround sound; a china room; a silver room with place settings for more than 50; a gift room with accompanying custom-designed gift-wrapping room; a design studio to capture photos of jewelry and other personal items for online auctions; and a collection fine art originals, including one of the famous Dogs Playing Poker paintings.

"The Manor was more than just a piece of real estate, it was about a lot of love for my husband and our wonderful children, and all of the memories we created there," said Candy. "In the process of downsizing, it's nice to be able to share the things that made it feel like home. While it is hard to part with many things that made the home so special, I am looking forward to the next chapter and creating another beautiful home."

Before the 20 moving trucks showed up, HGTV cameras were there to capture the inside of the spectacular Los Angeles mega-mansion that Candy shared with her late husband, son, Randy and daughter, actress Tori Spelling for over 20 years. Tune-in to catch a glimpse of the inside of one of America's most lavish estates and, for the first time ever, Candy opens the door to the mansion's never-before-seen 17,000 square foot attic which housed a barber shop and beauty salon, as well as the Spelling family's treasured family keepsakes and hundreds of boxes of holiday d�cor. In addition to the spectacular attic and numerous specialty rooms, Spelling Manor includes seven bedrooms, a master suite with a two-story walk-in closet, five kitchens and 27 bathrooms.
