ALABAMA SWEETHEART TRISTAN SMITH WINS TRIBBLE REESE'S HEART IN TONIGHT'S SECOND SEASON FINALE OF "SWEET HOME ALABAMA"

Fan Favorite and Former NASCAR Spokesmodel Paige Duke Will be the Bachelorette for Season 3 of the Popular Series Premiering Friday, January 13 at 9 p.m., ET/PT on CMT

NASHVILLE - December 9, 2011 - A second season of CMT's popular SWEET HOME ALABAMA came to a close earlier tonight and southern bachelor Tribble Reese chose Robertsdale, Alabama girl Tristan Smith in tonight's emotional finale. In the battle between city vs. country, Smith won Reese's heart with her strong values and emphasis on family. Smith was a fan favorite early on in the series, tugging on viewers heartstrings by opening up about her father's recent death and winning them over with her southern charm. City girl Jacqueline Honulik also proved to be a strong contender early in the series, but in the end Tribble chose to stick with his southern roots.

Another season two fan favorite, southern beauty Paige Duke, has decided to give love another chance and has signed on to be the new bachelorette in the third season of SWEET HOME ALABAMA, premiering Friday, January 13 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT. This time, Paige will be faced with the tough decision of city versus country in her search for Mr. Right.

SWEET HOME ALABAMA, is produced by Glassman Media with executive producers Andrew Glassman and Grant Julian. Claire McCabe and Jayson Dinsmore are executive producers for CMT.
