OXYGEN MEDIA CELEBRATES THE RETURN OF REALITY SERIES "JERSEY COUTURE" WITH GRAND OPENING OF POP-UP BEAUTY BAR IN NEW YORK CITY'S NOHO

Partnerships with Minx, Ricky's NYC and Temptu Bring On Five Days of Fab

NEW YORK - January 24, 2012 - To usher in the return of Oxygen's reality series "Jersey Couture" and celebrate all things Jersey glam, the network has partnered with Minx, Ricky's NYC and Temptu to create a Pop-Up Beauty Bar in New York City's NoHo neighborhood February 3 - 7, 2012. Free and open to the public, this pop-up corner store will offer complimentary over-the-top beauty experiences via "Glamification Stations." Each station will present a unique service, including: luxury nail coatings by Minx; braids, feather and color extensions by Ricky's NYC's Revolver Salon stylists; and fabulous and flawless airbrush make-up makeovers by Temptu. From the producers of "Say Yes to the Dress," "Jersey Couture" follows visitors to New Jersey dress shop Diane & Company, where they are guided by sisters Kimberly and Christina and mom Diane Scali, who deliver their signature fashion advice. The second season returns with two half-hour back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, February 7, at 10 PM ET/PT.

"We are thrilled to be bringing over-the-top Jersey glam to New York with our Pop-Up Beauty Bar," said Elissa Harman, VP Consumer Marketing. "Together with our expert partners, we're bringing "Jersey Couture" to life through Live Out Loud trends in hair, make-up and fashion allowing everyone to celebrate the launch of the new season!"

To heighten the sassiness of this promotional effort, Minx, 'the' go-to company for celeb nail art and design, will make guests feel like stars with one-of-a-kind luxury nail coatings. Then, there's the importance of hair as an art. No doubt, many a New Yorker has been struck by Ricky's NYC bold citywide storefronts. Now, guests can experience Ricky's NYC's Revolver Salon stylists' celebrated braids, feather and color extensions. Finally, on the cutting edge of fashion, Temptu's airbrush make-up makeovers will offer the very latest in make-up application. Additionally, to forever immortalize the occasion, there will be a photo booth where visitors can model their new looks and take home a personalized photograph. And, just for that extra sparkle, guests can customize a "Jersey Couture" t-shirt at the official bedazzling station.

The promotion will kick off with a glittery yellow carpet opening on Thursday, February 2. The invite-only event will showcase "Jersey Couture's" stars and host clients, celebrities and press and feature a live DJ. Located at 684 Broadway at Great Jones Street, the "Jersey Couture" Pop-Up Beauty Bar store hours are: Friday, February 3 between 4 PM - 9 PM; Saturday, February 4 between 12 PM - 8 PM; Sunday, February 5 between 12 PM - 8 PM; Monday, February 6 between 5 PM - 9 PM; Tuesday, February 7 between 5 PM - 9 PM.

Oxygen's "Jersey Couture" premieres on Tuesday, February 7, at 10 PM ET/PT with two half-hour back-to-back episodes with an all-new look and a whole lot of Jersey style. Whether it's a Sweet 16 fantasy, a gala charity ball, a high school prom, or a daughter's wedding everyone knows that the perfect dress makes the event, and no one in New Jersey is better at helping women find the right dress than the Scalis. From the opinionated mother of the bride to the noisy best friend who doesn't like any of the choices to the customer that falls in love with a dress that's out of her price range and then begs for a discount, everyone thinks they know best. But when you enter Diane & Company, the Scali women run the show, which always guarantees a fun and memorable shopping experience. The customers are guided in their difficult decisions by Kimberly, Christina and mom Diane, delivering their signature advice accessorized with their unique, inimitable style. Because at the end of their business day, it's all about providing women with the Cinderella experience of a lifetime. "Jersey Couture" is produced by Half Yard Productions, with Abby Greensfelder and Sean Gallagher as executive producers.
