In an effort to ensure they don't just get married, but stay married, Christian life counselor Steve Arterburn encourages the young couple to date other people.

LAST DATES BEFORE I DO follows lovebirds Catherine and Evan on their journey to discover more about themselves and, ultimately, their relationship as they go on dates with strangers and even former flames. Catherine, an accomplished singer, will have to decide if she's ready to walk away from her dreams. Evan, on the other hand, faces an old girlfriend. In the end, they must decide if they're ready to make a lifelong commitment or if it's time to go their separate ways.
