THE ABC TELEVISION NETWORK AND THE ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURE ARTS AND SCIENCES ANNOUNCE DATE FOR THE 85TH ACADEMY AWARDS(R)
BEVERLY HILLS, CA - The 85th Academy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, and the Oscar(R) telecast will be presented on Sunday, February 24. The ceremony will take place at the Hollywood & Highland Center(R) in Hollywood, and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network to more than 225 countries.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is the world's preeminent movie-related organization, with a membership of more than 6,000 of the most accomplished men and women working in cinema.
