SWEET HOME ALABAMA Cast Members to be Featured on CMT's New Series SOUTHERN NIGHTS Premiering Saturday, April 7

NASHVILLE - March 23, 2012 - This evening the third season of CMT's popular series SWEET HOME ALABAMA came to an end as southern sweetheart Paige Duke chose Jeremiah James Korfe, a farmer from Clarissa, Minn., as her soul mate. In tonight's finale, Paige was torn between Jeremiah, who struggled with sharing his feelings throughout the season, and Bubba Thompson, the cowboy from Alabama who wore his heart on his sleeve. In the end, she could not deny her strong affections toward Jeremiah and chose him to start their life together.

Fans of SWEET HOME ALABAMA are anxiously awaiting CMT's new series SOUTHERN NIGHTS, which brings together ten well-known cast members from previous seasons to live and party together. The cast heads to the beautiful southern city of Savannah where some relationships will begin and others will be tested as past conflicts resurface and different lifestyles collide. Throughout the eight-episode series, they will explore the best of the South -- from rodeos and ranches to upscale nightclubs and tailgate parties. SOUTHERN NIGHTS premieres Saturday, April 7 at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT with two back-to-back new episodes.
