NEW DISNEY XD SERIES "MOTORCITY" REVS UP WITH RACER GAME FOR iPHONE, iPAD AND iPOD TOUCH

Burbank, Ca., March 26, 2012 -- In anticipation of the upcoming Disney XD series Motorcity, Disney ABC Television Group's Digital Media Team announces the launch of 'Motorcity: Drive', a six-level, 3D racing, shooter game for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, available now on the App Store.

Premiering April 30th, Motorcity is an animated series set in a futuristic Detroit owned by evil billionaire Abraham Kane. Having banned personal freedoms including automobile transportation, Kane now faces one last obstacle: a group of hot-rod wielding rebels who call themselves The Burners. Led by Mike Chilton, The Burners rise to stop Kane from conquering Detroit's last oasis of freedom - an underground refuge dubbed Motorcity.

In the game, Mike and fellow Burner Chuck are attempting to outrun, out maneuver and destroy Kane's evil bots. To do so, players take control of Mike's souped up racing car, Mutt, while also manning weapons like the Gatling laser, Plasma Blaster or Pulse Bomb (skilled players will be able to unlock special bonus weapons). On iPad, users can navigate using Tilt or Track Pad modes. To advance in the game, the player must complete each level, but they can also earn achievements for dodging obstacles, completing a level with the target score; taking out all enemies in a level, collecting all pickups in a level and more.

The series, created by Chris Prynoski and produced by Robin Red Breast, Inc. and Disney Television Animation, is slated to premiere Monday April 30 on Disney XD. The voice cast is Reid Scott, Nate Torrence, Kate Micucci, Kel Mitchell, Jess Harnell, Brian Doyle Murray, Jim Breuer and Mark Hamill.

The 'Motorcity: Drive' App is available for free from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
