WORLD TELEVISION PREMIERE OF "THE SHIFT" STARRING 'THE FATHER OF MOTIVATION,' WAYNE DYER, TO AIR ON OWN: OPRAH WINFREY NETWORK'S "SUPER SOUL SUNDAY," APRIL 1 AT 11 AM ET/PT
Affectionately called "The Father of Motivation" by his fans, best-selling author, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, 71, is expanding his message in The Shift. The Hay House film stars Portia de Rossi as an unfulfilled wife and Michael DeLuise as a film director in need of purpose. Directed by Michael Goorjian, The Shift explores, through fictional stories, the message that fulfillment comes when we move away from our ego driven lives and begin to look for the love in every being, a common thread that unites us all.
Dyer adds, "My purpose with 'The Shift' is to help expand consciousness and aid in a real shift in humanity. I am thrilled that 'The Shift' will have its world broadcast premiere on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, which I know will make an impact towards our goal of more awareness, more reaching out, more service, and more kindness in the world."
Through the intertwined stories of an overachieving businessman, a mother of two seeking her own expression in the world, and a director trying to make a name for himself, this film inspires and entertains, while teaching viewers how to create a life of meaning and purpose. Filmed on coastal California's spectacular Monterey Peninsula, The Shift captures a person's longing for a more purposeful, soul-directed life.
