New York, NY (April 2, 2012) - SHOWTIME will kick-off the second season of its critically acclaimed series THE BORGIAS with a nationwide design event featuring high-end retail window installations in ten cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston, DC, Miami and Dallas. THE BORGIAS, a one-hour drama series based on the infamous Italian Renaissance family, returns for a second season on Sunday, April 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Oscar(R)-winning actor Jeremy Irons stars in his Golden Globe(R)-nominated role as Rodrigo Borgia, the cunning, manipulative patriarch of the Borgia family who ascends to the highest circles of power within Renaissance-era Italy to become Pope Alexander VI. THE BORGIAS is a complex, unvarnished portrait of one of history's most intriguing and infamous dynastic families. THE BORGIAS season one averaged 3.2 million weekly viewers.
