DISNEY XD AND MARVEL TEAM UP WITH THE NBA TO PRESENT THE "ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN" AND NBA MASH-UP VIDEO, SATURDAY, APRIL 7 ON DISNEY XD

Disney XD and Marvel have teamed with the NBA to present the "Ultimate Spider-Man" and NBA mash-up video, premiering SATURDAY, APRIL 7 (9:27 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD and DisneyXD.com. The video, which will also be available at NBAHoopTroop.com and provided to NBA teams to present in arena, features an array of heroes on and off the court, with action-filled scenes from Marvel's "Ultimate Spider-Man" animated series and NBA highlights.

"This creative 'mash-up' of NBA stars and the iconic Spider-Man reflects a feeling of strength and confidence, whether it's 'thwipping' to the next level or soaring for a slam dunk, and aligns powerful properties with boys' interests across multiple platforms and arenas," said Andrea Ste. Marie, director, Marketing, Disney XD.

"The NBA is pleased to partner with Disney XD and Marvel to bring young fans this ultimate 'dream team,'" said Aldo DiCuffa, vice president, Programming, NBA.

Marvel's "Ultimate Spider-Man" airs Sundays (11:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Marvel Universe on Disney XD, and the NBA Playoffs begin Saturday, April 28 on ESPN and ABC.

Produced by Marvel Animation, "Ultimate Spider-Man" on Marvel Universe on Disney XD features a teenage Peter Parker juggling the relatable challenges of high school with the extraordinary challenges of being a super hero. Nick Fury invites Parker to train with his S.H.I.E.L.D. organization, where Peter's alter-ego, Spider-Man, will join forces with four other teenage super heroes - Nova, White Tiger, Power Man and Iron Fist - on the greatest action and adventure ever as they work to become ultimate super heroes.
