BOUNCE (VH1) - Charlotte Ross ("NYPD Blue") has joined the cast of the pilot, a drama set in the world of professional basketball dancers about a sheltered young woman (Taylour Paige) who joins a squad against the wishes of her mother (Kimberly Elise). She'll play Olivia, a former dancer-turned-basketball wife who oversees the squad. Dean Cain, Katherine Bailess and Valery Ortiz also star in the hour, from writer James LaRosa and director Sanaa Hamri. LaRosa, Maggie Malina and VH1's Jill Holmes and Jeff Olde are among the executive producers. (THR.com)


L.A. NOIR (TNT) - Haley Strode ("The Gangster Squad") will guest star on the drama pilot, about the epic battle between Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker (Neal McDonough) and mobster Mickey Cohen (yet to be cast) in the 1950s. She'll play Cohen's first victim, who appears in flashback, in the hour, from writer/director Frank Darabont and producer Michael De Luca. Alexa Davalos, Jeremy Strong, Jon Bernthal, Milo Ventimiglia, Simon Pegg, Jeffrey DeMunn and Andrew Rothenberg also star. (THR.com)


AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Mary Lynn Rajskub and Patrick Fischler will guest star in the penultimate episode of "Grey's Anatomy" this season as "a couple in the midst of their third honeymoon when they come to Seattle Grace complaining of mysterious symptoms" (TVLine.com); and Kay Cannon, a supervising producer on "30 Rock," has signed an overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television where she'll transition to the writing staff of "New Girl" (Variety.com).
