Exclusive American Broadcast of Historic Concert Airs Tuesday, June 5

With millions around the world watching the historic celebrations surrounding Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee this spring, ABC News will air two exclusive primetime broadcasts anchored by Katie Couric, including the only American interview with her grandsons, TRH The Duke of Cambridge Prince William -- who pays a personal and poignant tribute to his grandmother and also speaks candidly about his mother, Princess Diana, and his wedding - and Prince Harry, as well as the American broadcast of the most star-studded event of all, the "Concert for The Queen."

"Good Morning America" will report live from London on Monday, June 4 and Tuesday, June 5. "World News with Diane Sawyer" and "Nightline" will also cover the historic events surrounding the Jubilee weekend from June 2-5. ABCNews.com and Goodmorningamerica.com on Yahoo! will have full coverage for several days that will include articles, live-streamed events, slideshows and interactives. ABC News Radio correspondent Tom Rivers will be in London reporting all things Jubilee, and ABC NewsOne will provide coverage for its clients and stations.

Days before the celebrations surrounding the Diamond Jubilee, ABC News marks the monarch's historic 60-year reign with an intimate portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II from those who know her best. Anchored by Katie Couric, the two-hour special edition of "20/20" will feature interviews with her grandsons, TRH The Duke of Cambridge Prince William and Prince Harry, The Duke of York Prince Andrew, his daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as several members of the Queen's staff, who all share candid and exclusive details about her daily life beyond the glare of lights and cameras. The program will also give viewers unprecedented access inside Buckingham Palace.

"Concert for The Queen: A Diamond Jubilee Celebration with Katie Couric" airs Tuesday, June 5, 9:00-11:00 p.m., ET

ABC has the exclusive American broadcast rights to "Concert for The Queen: A Diamond Jubilee Celebration," which features a veritable who's who of the music world, including Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Tom Jones, Annie Lennox, Kylie Minogue, Stevie Wonder, will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas and young recording sensation Jessie J. In addition to the performances showcased on the special, Katie Couric will take viewers backstage for an unprecedented view of the festivities, including interviews with the concert's biggest stars.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, TRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Catherine, Prince Harry and other members of the Royal Family will be in attendance at the concert, which is being held in front of Her Majesty The Queen's residence, Buckingham Palace. The evening will also include fireworks and a light show.
