CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - "Breakout Kings" co-creator Matt Olmstead has signed on as the showrunner of the Peacock's new drama, about the Firefighters, Rescue Squad and Paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 51. He'll oversee creators Derek Haas and Michael Brandt as well as executive produce alongside Peter Jankowski, Danielle Gelber and Dick Wolf for the Universal Television-based Wolf Films. (Variety.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Tia Mowry announced on her Twitter account that she will not return for the sixth season of BET's "The Game" (@TiaMowry); and Lorraine Toussaint will guest on "Drop Dead Diva" as Jane's (Brooke Elliott) former law professor who invites her to deliver a lecture to one of her classes at Stanford Law School (THR.com).
